Uncle Jim
By Hawksdomain | July 3, 2008
This photo shows the stone that welcomes visitors to the home of James and Audrey Hahn. I took this picture the day we buried the remains of my great uncle Jim. He passed in October, but his presence is still very deeply missed. He was a very important part of our family, he always had a smile and a joke for everyone.
Before I am asked - Uncle Jim passed away in October while his youngest grandson was in Afghanistan. He was cremated and the burial waited until his grandson was able to be present.
Uncle Jim was the one who inherited the old farmhouse and sold it to his son who is restoring it. His house is located next door to the farmhouse and is also on land that has been in the family since the Kansas Territory was opened.

HerTrk

This photo is of a personalized license plate from Alaska that says “HerTrk” meaning the truck belongs to her, I’m sure! I did not make it along side of this vehicle, but from the back, it looks more like a mini van than a truck to me.
